In pursuit of broadening her artistic horizon, Thea moved to the United States where she trained heavily for four years at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers Univeristy, New Brunswick, NJ, and graduated with honours, with a BFA in Dance Performance in May 2018. Throughout her time at Rutgers Thea had the privilege of performing work by Javier Padilla’s The Movement Playground across the US at world-renowned venues including Jacob’s Pillow and The John F. Kennedy Center for the

Performing Arts.

In addition, she performed works by prestigious artists/faculty Keith A. Thompson and John Evans. Since graduating, Thea has spent nine months working with NYC based company Peridance Capezio Center, and is currently a freelance artist between Canada and the US.
